do i need an outdoor power socket?

No. The solar panel charges the battery, so there’s no need for an outdoor socket or mains wiring. You’ll still need to secure the light in place and position the panel where it receives good sunlight.

will it work on cloudy days or in winter?

Lighting time depends on how much solar energy the battery receives. Cloudy weather, shorter winter days can reduce charging and shorten lighting time. Brightness can also be adjusted manually using the remote control.

where should i install the solar panel?

Choose an open position with as much direct sunlight as possible, avoiding shade from trees, roofs and nearby buildings. Keep the panel clear of leaves, dirt and snow to help it charge effectively.

does it stay at full brightness all night?

The light brightens when movement is detected nearby. This gives you extra light as you approach; it does not mean the lamp stays at full brightness throughout the night.

which mounting option should i choose?

Choose the wall-mounted version for a suitable solid wall; expansion screws are included. Choose the concrete-pole version for an existing compatible pole; band clamps are included.
